Life is going well. The Lord has been so sweet and although I'm not singing right now, I have really enjoyed just being at home and going to my home church. I'm spending a lot of time with The Lord and asking for His direction for My life now. The peace of The Lord is greater than the grief. Keep me in your prayers as I seek God's will for my life now. I'm excited to see what the next chapter in my life will be. Thank you for your prayers.I will be in Nashville, Tennessee this weekend with My girls. Mark Lowry ask me to do "Mother Moments" with His Mom Beverly Lowry on Sunday Morning. Please come and join us. You can get ticket info on marklowry.com

Funeral Story
Posted on: JANUARY 14, 2008 at 9:11 pm EST
I know it sounds strange to say that my Dad's funeral was great, but it really was. Although our hearts are so saddened, we had a wonderful celebration of His life. Of course we started the service with a prayer in song. We sang "The Lord's Prayer" accapella, and then "The Love of God". The sweetest Spirit was in the church. Our special friend Ellen Moss delivered a very special message from The Lord. Greg Day then sang a song he wrote called "A Very Present Help" and it really ministered to our whole family in a special way. Then Rev. Mike Sage from Freedom Tabernacle in Marion, VA. got up as only He can and had us crying one minute and laughing and rejoicing the next. And He also sang the sweetest song called "Gone Away With A Friend". We sang again a medley of songs that started with "Unseen Hand, Hold To God's Unchanging Hand, and He'll Hold to My Hand". Then Dr. Dennis Carter from Trinity Baptist in Spartanburg(Leo and Brenda's Home Church)got up and just spoke from His Heart about Dad's life, vision and dedication for His Family and Music. It was a great depiction of Dad. Then nearing the end of the funeral, Mom spoke from Her heart and we sang "Under His Wings". I could go on and on about the service, but just wanted everyone to know a little about how awesome it was. Continue to pray for our family, especially Mom during this time of loss. - Heather
